  2. Download Windows Phone SDK
  3. Build 3 Windows Phone Applications
  4. Get the Applications Certified
  5. Submit them on the marketplace before 31st March,2012                
                         

If you are existing Iphone or Android Developer :
  1. Register on apphub : http://create.msdn.com as developer.
  2. Use “Android-to-WP API Mapping Tool” for Android Applications
  3. Use “iOS-to-WP API Mapping Tool ” for iOS Applications.
  4. Port two of your iOS/Android Apps to Windows Phone.
  5. Get your applications certified
  6. Submit your applications to the marketplace by 31st March,2012

Basic Rules
Your application submission is valid only if:
  1. You have filled up the Registration form and claim Goodies Form on http://www.microsoft.com/india/developer/windowsphone with all required information
  2. You have Registered on http://create.msdn.com with US $ 99(approx. 5000 INR) Annual Membership Fees , which entitles you to publish and manage apps at Windows Phone Marketplace
  3. Your application gets certified on App Hub and Published at Windows Phone Marketplace on or Before 31st March 2012

This US $ 99 Annual Membership fees entitles you to Windows Phone Marketplace where you can upload unlimited paid applications & upto 100 free Windows Phone applications. Minimum Price for paid applications that you develop for Windows Phone Maketplace is US $ 1 or equivalent in other currency .( i.e if you applications get downloaded by 150 users in a month from around the world( a very small number , actually it can higher depending upon the usability factor of your application). You get 70% of US $ 150


A simple Maths :
70% of US $ 150 = US $ 105 = approx. 5250 INR (Refer Microsoft’s policies for Windows Phone Developers as reason for you getting only 70% of the actual value of your Application ) Straight in your bank account in the first month. So you recover your entire investment in just 1 month or lesser TimeSpan. From next month onwards all these money will getting deposited in your bank account as the users around the world download your apps.

1) Microsoft will reimburse the Developer Sign Up Fee in the form of Rs.
5,000 worth of gift vouchers to all successful developers who submit 3
Apps.
2) The developer who submits the maximum number of Apps in the months
of January and February also stands a chance to get featured in the April
Issue of Digit Magazine and the Digit website (http://www.thinkdigit.com)
3) Every participant who submits 6 valid apps would also be given a sixmonths
subscription to Digit worth Rs. 1000/-
4) Every developer who submits 6 valid Apps also stands a chance to win an
exciting windows phone accessory.
